Accessibility Standard

BPOCM aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines WCAG 2.2, Level AA for content and functionality BPOCM controls.

This is an aim and ongoing program—not a guarantee that every page, file, third-party tool, or legacy item is fully conformant at every moment.

Measures We Aim to Use

BPOCM’s accessibility practices may include:

Structure and Navigation

  • semantic HTML;
  • meaningful headings;
  • landmarks;
  • skip links;
  • descriptive page titles;
  • logical reading order;
  • clear link text;
  • consistent navigation.

Keyboard and Focus

  • keyboard-operable controls;
  • visible focus;
  • no keyboard trap;

  • information not conveyed by color alone;
  • readable type;
  • zoom and reflow support;
  • responsive layouts;
  • light and dark themes;
  • reduced-motion support where appropriate;
  • appropriately sized controls and targets.

Images and Media

  • text alternatives for meaningful images;
  • decorative images hidden from assistive technology;
  • captions for prerecorded synchronized video where required;

  • media controls that can be operated;
  • avoidance of unnecessary flashing.

Forms and Transactions

  • visible labels;
  • instructions;
  • required-field indicators;
  • text-based error identification;

  • captions and transcripts;

AI, Automation, and Interactive Systems

  • clear disclosure of what the system does;
  • understandable instructions;
  • text alternatives where practical;
  • keyboard access;
  • human escalation;
  • alternative access when the AI or automated path is not usable;
  • no requirement to rely solely on AI for important support.

Scope

This statement applies to BPOCM-controlled:

  • public website pages;
  • legal pages;
  • contact and service pages;
  • downloadable resources;
  • courses and information products;
  • online forms;
  • appointment experiences;
  • customer or learner interfaces;
  • AI and automation interfaces.

Client-owned websites, systems, courses, documents, and applications may have their own accessibility statements and responsibilities.

Third-Party Content and Tools

BPOCM uses or may use third-party:

  • forms;
  • calendars;
  • payment tools;
  • maps;
  • video players;
  • course platforms;
  • social networks;
  • chat tools;
  • AI tools;
  • voice or avatar tools;
  • embedded content;
  • plugins;
  • software.

BPOCM does not control every aspect of third-party accessibility.

We aim to:

  • consider accessibility when selecting providers;
  • configure available accessibility features;
  • report material barriers;
  • provide an alternative path where reasonably possible.

Client-Provided and Legacy Content

Some barriers may come from:

  • client-provided content;
  • third-party documents;
  • old PDFs;
  • recordings without captions;
  • inaccessible vendor widgets;
  • legacy pages;
  • media awaiting remediation.

BPOCM may prioritize remediation based on:

  • severity;
  • usage;
  • legal requirements;
  • user impact;
  • available alternatives;
  • technical feasibility;
  • project scope.

Alternative Access and Reasonable Assistance

If a page, form, document, video, course, scheduling tool, or other digital experience is difficult to use, contact BPOCM.

We will work in good faith to provide the information, service, or a reasonable alternative through another accessible method when feasible.

Possible alternatives may include:

  • email;
  • telephone;
  • accessible document;
  • transcript;
  • captioned content;
  • human-assisted form completion;
  • another scheduling method;
  • another communication channel.
